                                          Legend of the Star Warriors</u>

                                           Chapter 1:  The Beginning</u>

‘Once a long time ago in Dreamland, an evil Dictator appeared one day and with his armies he started to attack all the kingdoms on the planet till only one was left that was still free from his control, but that time may end soon. What kept this kingdom from falling was a strong group made up of all kinds of warriors from all over and range from swordsmen, knights, guards, bowmen’s, solders, and even bandits and called themselves Freedom Fighters and they all had one thing in common, to stop the Dictator from taking over, killing them all, and from ruling the world.
The best of the Freedom Fighters was a female knight name Platinum Knight, her past known only to a few, but one thing that separates her from everyone else is that she is half Star Warrior, she is also one of the main reasons the Dictator hasn’t taken over yet. Rewards of been put up for her capture, but she disguises herself as man so they can’t find her and only her fellow Freedom Fighters knew her real gender. The locals also weren’t going to hand her over. She and the other Freedom Fighters are the only ones who defend them from the Dictator’s solders from destroying their homes, their food supply, their families, and them. But the group was falling back and could not hold out much longer without help from someone or something to give them a fighting chance against the Dictator. That help will come sooner then anyone thought and it will come from above.’

“Raid the houses for any money or food you can find and don’t let anyone escape!”

It was another town raid by the Dictator’s soldiers and the town’s people were in panic, mothers were trying to find their kids and to find safety, men were trying to defend the town, but they were farmers and merchants, not warriors and many of them soon fell to soldiers. One man fell to the ground and saw one soldiers raise his sword to end his life, he closed his eyes and waited for the blade to go through him, but it never came. He opened eyes and saw not only the soldier that tried to kill him was dead, but so were several other soldiers around him and his savior standing in the middle with a long silver sword drawn. The knight had a white cape, along spiked shoulder guards, and noticed that his feet were a pinkish-grey. The knight also wore a mask that had two scars over each eye hole. He was saved by none other then Platinum Knight herself.

“You okay there?” she asked in her low voice she uses when around towns so nobody knows she was a girl.

“Ye, yes,” he stammered the word, still recovering from nearly being killed. Platinum Knight tilted her head towards a small group of their men as a way to tell him to get over to them and fast. He didn’t hesitate. Platinum Knight turned away and followed some Freedom Fighters into battle. Likely for them there were only fifthteen soldiers while they had twenty and the battle didn’t last long. When it was over the Freedom Fighters hide the dead soldiers, took their weapons, and made sure the town’s people were okay.

“Is everybody here?” asked one swordsman, he was the same height as the townsfolk and was slim, but had a large sword across his back.

“Everyone’s here,” said a woman

“Okay, so we got things covered here some of us will stay here for a bit incase more of them come back, the rest of us will be on lookout, so we won’t be far away,” said Platinum Knight. That what they usually do when they defend a town, some men stay in town a couple of days while the rest of them camped near and kept look out incase more soldiers came back so they can rush in and stop them and then head back to base camp to drop off the supplies and weapons they got and wait till they hear of another raid or one of the Dictator supply wagons.
The town’s people agreed and were happy to have protection from the Dictator’s men and they and some Waddle Dees that lived there, went to clean up the town and prepare for the night. Platinum headed out to her post when she heard one Freedom Fighter run up to her. His name was Sonj and was a close friend of hers. Her was taller then her but not by much and had a bow and a couple of arrows on his back with a sword beside him.

“Hey Platinum,” only he and a few others called her by just her first name. “We sure took care of them.”

“Yes, but no doubt more will be back when those soldiers don’t come back,” she replied as they continued walking.

“Ah we can take care of them,” Sonj said as he kicked a stone in the air, but it hit him in the face.

“Ow,”

“I’m surprised you still have all your limbs, surely you would have lost one by now,” Platinum Knight said as she laughed a little. He was always getting hurt in someway or another, yet was very skilled with a bow and arrow and was a decent swordsman.

“Look who’s talking, you take more risks than any other person I know,” said Sonj, but he knew it was because she wanted to stop the Dictator and to protect the people from his rule. He noticed the sun was starting to set.

“Uh oh, almost night, I better head back to camp, see you later and be safe,” he said as he ran off. Platinum Knight watched him leave and then continued on to her post.

“We may have defeated those soldiers, but this will never end till he is dead, but there’s no way we can do that when we have fewer men and can’t even get near the castle without getting killed.” Thought Platinum Knight as she reached her post, took off her mask and sat down. She was a dark, dark magenta, with pinkish-grey cheeks, and her face reviled two scars over her eyes, but she did have a pretty face even with the scars.
She looked up at the sky and thought back to her early childhood, it was nice just being her and her parents, she remembered her mother telling her about the Star Warriors who are known to be the greatest warriors of all and told her about many past Star Warriors who were summoned down to planets and helped end huge wars and defeated many powerful and evil beings. She knew they were true cause her mother was the last Star Warrior that was summoned down to this planet when a huge civil war threaten to destroy both kingdoms at least two hundred years ago. After she helped end the civil war, she wandered for sometime before she meet her father who was a soldier at the time. They fell in love and a year later they married and several years later she came along. It was great till the day ‘they’ came and ended it.
Platinum shook her head to get the memory out of her head. She didn’t want to think about it anymore. It was too painful to think about. She took out a pendent that had the North Star on it, she held it close to her for it was the last thing she had of her mother. Her mother gave it to her a month before that dreaded day, she told her it came with her when she was first summoned down to this planet, so it been through a lot.

“I bet if you were here you would know what to do,” she said sadly as she looked up at the night sky as the first stars started to come out, including the North Star.

Meanwhile

The Dictator stood in the shadows of his throne room as he looked out the window which had a great view of his castle fortress. It may have taken many laborers to build this, but he thought it was worth it even though nearly all of them died from building it. He smiled at that thought which reviled two rows of sharp teeth. He nearly had the planet under his rule, but this one kingdom was proving to be a stubborn one to take.

“No matter, I do like a challenge every once and a while,” he said to himself as he chuckled. He then heard the door open and a guard enter the room.

“Haven’t I told you to knock and address yourself before you enter!” he yelled at the poor guard. The guard shook in fear but held his ground.

“I’m deeply sorry sir, but we got reports about the raiding party you sent out has been destroyed by a group of Freedom Fighters,” The Dictator shook his fist and hit the wall, which left a huge hole in it.

“Curse those Freedom Fighters, they are the reason why I don’t have this place under my full control!” he cursed.

“Platinum Knight was sighted with this group Sir,” the guard said. The Dictator stopped and looked at him.

“Her again, that knight has been a thorn in my side from the beginning. Nothing seems to get rid of her.” He knew Platinum Knight was really a girl and was also aware that she was half Star Warrior as well. That feature may prove useful to him if he can capture her.

“Sent out another party, kill those ‘Freedom Fighters’ but bring the girl back alive,” he said as he gave the signal for the guard to leave.

“Yes Sir.” He quickly left the room and closed the door behind. The Dictator looked out the window and saw the stars were coming out. They reminded him of the Star Warriors, he knew the stars were really the Star Warriors that watch from above. That reminded him of Platinum Knight once more.

“You may try to run and hide and play hero Platinum, but soon you’ll make a mistake and you’re time will be up and you will be mine.” He let out an evil laugh that echoed through out the castle fortress, everyone who heard it shook with great fear and hoped who ever he was after will not fall into his hands.
The first chapter of my new series is up and I hope you like it. This chapter is mainly explaining some things that you all need to know and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. One more thing, Platinum Knight does not belong to me, she belongs to :icond00pliss385:.

Okay, well I've got alot to say here but...

This first chapter really got my attention! I've wanted to read this whole story for a long time (sadly though, I never really had time to. ^^; )
And I read the beginning part of this chapter the other day, I never really got to finish it though, but now that I got through it, I really can't wait to read the rest now! =D
